Looking for a no-budget informal venue suitable for activities for the entire family in the heart of Gig Harbor? The Gig Harbor City Park is home to a rustic, covered shelter with several outdoor activity areas- Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Bike jumping park, and a brand new “amazing” childrens play area. Also a baseball field that would need to be pre-reserved. Think of all the possibilities for your large all-age gatherings!

Harbor City Park (aka Crescent Creek Park) is a 5.8 acre public park specially geared toward outdoor events for larger groups and families with designated spaces for a variety of activities including weddings on the lawn.  The park boasts some of Gig Harbor’s largest cedar trees and the Crescent Creek Estuary with teaching plaques about stream conservation.  This river rocked-faced historic log shelter, built in the 1930s as part of the Works Progress Administration, running water, outlets, and two wood-burning stoves with an adjacent large grassy picnic/play area. It is nestled next to a beautiful wooded area with paths and viewing decks that run along Crescent Creek. The park is popular in the summer for family reunions, picnics, and group gatherings.
