Presenting Marena Lear, Latin American soloist. (Thurs) May 21, 2015
Born in Havana, Cuba Marena has sang since age 8 when she started performing with her uncle, the well-known Pacific Northwest Latin American guitarist and singer Alejandro Fleites.
She is excited to travel to Gig Harbor from her home in Portland where she performs with various jazz musicians. Marena will be presenting Latin American folk songs with some jazz and bossa nova thrown in,
Museum door open at 6:30 pm with the performance at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $15 for museum members and $20 for non members. Tickets include soup & dessert. Purchase tickets HERE. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
