 Swing For A Soldier is a golf tournament that supports the Permission to Start Dreaming Foundation, a Gig Harbor-based foundation that raises funds for alternative therapy programs that help veterans and their families find a light through the darkness of post-traumatic stress, promoting post traumatic growth. Saturdays 9am – 3pm – Now through September 22nd Marketplace is a vendor plaza that hosts 40+ local vendors and is an outlet for crafters, artists, farmers and food processors to sell their wares directly to the community. Vendor variety is the goal for the Peninsula Marketplace and includes seasonal produce, plants, seafood, bakery, and local artists and crafters.
