MORE ABOUT THE UPCOMING 2020 EMPTY BOWLS:

  • View featured Gig Harbor artist Wanda Garrity (Fireblaze Pottery) as she creates new bowls on her portable pottery wheel.  While you watch Wanda in action be sure to thank her for contributing 100 bowls to the event and for her efforts in organizing all the donations of bowls.
  • Local food vendors will be watching for your reaction as you taste their original soup creations. Try your favorite, but don’t expect to find them all on the restaurant menu. These soups are a one-of-a-kind gourmet delights.
  • Raffle- purchase a $5 raffle ticket (or more) for a chance to win one of several gift baskets that contain practical, useful and valuable items (valued at $200 or more). Choose the package that suits you- filled with gift cards for popular local restaurants, grocery stores and coffee houses.
  • Know that when you purchase that bowl, buy raffle tickets, and sip some soup you are helping Altrusa Gig Harbor raise money to support groups that feed kids during the summer months when school is not in session.
We also want to thank the volunteers from the Kiwanis Club of Gig Harbor for assisting in heating all the soup to ensure you have a perfect hot cup of soup.
In short…. Don’t you miss this creative fundraiser that brings together so many community folks in an effort to help feed our local kids.
