Just because we are all stuck at home doesn’t mean we have to suffer eating the stuff we cook.
Sure, the seating areas at all restaurants are closed but many are staying open for take-out and/or delivery. I was curious about what restaurants were providing options to get their food to us. So I drove around a bit. If “I” want to know… I know you do too.
Today I have spent many hours compiling a fairly complete reference list of food businesses. There is a column on my list that indicates open as of 3/25/20 on the ones I saw where open- but it is just a start. Some websites indicate take-out or closed, so they look closed from the outside but you may be able to order food online- many are simply not sure how long they can continue to offer take-out. I simply hope this list will help you with immediate contacts. I have given you both the phone # and the website link.
Since I am the one that normally gives you an events calendar and blogs about events happening in the area I felt this would be a useful blog during these non-event times. It is my contribution to our community to help our struggling small businesses. Please make your purchase from our local small businesses when considering a food order.
You will see a column for on-line food delivery apps- Urber Eats, DoorDash, Grub Hub. I have not included the big grocery stores, but I did include small food markets. Note at the bottom of the list are local providers of adult beverages that are available to be picked up.
If I have made a mistake on this list OR if your food business is missing let me know. Email me: Betty@EventResourcesGigHarbor.com…. Click on the link below for the list:
